e+m: 120 years of eventful company history
Managing Director Wolfram Mümmler is constantly developing new ballpoint pens in wood and wooden accessories that combine individual design with functionality and ecological responsibility.
The long-standing wooden manufactory e+m Holzprodukte, which is run by Wolfram Mümmler in its fourth generation, can look back on 120 years of eventful company history this year. In 1899, Konrad Ehmann founded a penholder factory in Nuremberg which grew rapidly. In the early days of the quality manufacturer, wooden penholders were produced in over 10,000 different shapes and colours and exported all over the world. During the Second World War, the workshops were completely destroyed. It was not until the 1980s before the long-standing writing instrument production could be re-established. Managing Director Wolfram Mümmler, the great-grandson of the company founder, has been constantly developing new ballpoint pens in wood and wooden accessories that combine individual design with functionality and ecological responsibility. The corporate philosophy of the Neumarkt-based wooden manufactory is clear: Quality coupled with ecological responsibility has the highest priority. e+m products are made entirely from natural materials in Germany. e+m products are highly sought after by the responsible consumer and in the promotional product industry precisely because of ecological and qualitative aspects as well as the outstanding design, the incomparable haptics and the perfect ergonomics.
