On Thursday 25 January 2018, Wolfgang Bartole from Albert Schweitzer Kinderdorf in Waldenburg/Germany received a donation of 8,000 euros from the management and marketing department of Jung Bonbonfabrik. As the manufacturer of promotional sweets is very impressed by the work in children's villages, a fund-raising campaign was launched last Christmas and an amount was collected for the children's villages for each Classic Wand Advent calendar sold. The donation will be used to purchase more outdoor play equipment and for the circus educational work in the children's village in Waldenburg. At the donation ceremony, Jung partner Dennis Dennig emphasised that "supporting the sustainable and competent work for the children was the purpose of this sweet idea": "We would like to express special thanks to our customers who have taken our concerns seriously and supported them". A fundraiser for the same institution is planned again for the coming Christmas season. www.jung-europe.de
