The current financial year 2018 has been very encouraging for the international Trodat Trotec Group, headquartered in Wels: The first half of the year was the best ever in the history of this manufacturer of stamps and laser plotters with a turnover of 122 million euros. And the management expects an absolute record year for the entire group of companies. Dr. Norbert Schrüfer, CEO of the Trodat Trotec Group: "In the first half of 2018, turnover increased compared to the same period last year, and the figures would have been even more gratifying if there hadn’t been negative currency effects of currently around four per cent of the turnover." By its own account, the Group's total turnover last year was over 249 million euros, of which 120 million euros was generated in the first half of 2017. "Quality, innovation and reliability are among our success factors in the hotly contested stamp and laser business," explains Schrüfer and Peter Köstler, CFO of the Group, adding: "The record-breaking figures of the first half of 2018 confirm our course of continuous growth. Both organic growth and planned acquisitions will play their part." www.trodat-trotec.com
