Maul und Schneider establish joint sales subsidiary in France
The new sales cooperation Maul-Schneider-France SAS includes not only Schneider and Maul products but also the products of the Sigel, Aristo and Citizen brands.
Strategic partnerships are important building blocks for success. The long-standing German companies Jakob Maul GmbH and Schneider Schreibgeräte GmbH have successfully put this guiding principle into practice for several years now. As of 1 January 2019, both companies will be represented in France by a joint distribution company, Maul Schneider France SAS, based in Paris (Palaiseau). The distribution cooperation between the two brand companies offers trading partners numerous synergy effects such as uncomplicated access to high-quality complementary product ranges, administrative processing advantages as well as one point of contact for both brands. In addition, new channels can be jointly developed in the French market. The assortment of Maul Schneider France SAS includes not only Schneider and Maul products but also the products of the Sigel, Aristo and Citizen brands.
Jakob Maul GmbH has around 200 employees and two production sites in Germany. Maul is an innovative manufacturer of niche office supplies such as flip charts, electronic letter scales, lights and bookends. The family business is now run by the 4th generation characterised by shared values, transparent cooperation and a sustainable, continuous business policy.
Schneider is a leading international brand with a full range of high-quality writing instruments Made in Germany. The ballpoint pens, fountain pens, highlighters, markers, fineliners, rollerball pens, refills and cartridges meet the highest demands on writing comfort, quality, design and durability. Founded in 1938 by Christian Schneider, Schneider is now run by the third generation. The company has about 620 employees.
As German medium-sized family-owned companies, the two manufacturers not only share a corporate culture and corporate philosophy that are practically identical in many areas: Both Maul and Schneider are committed to developing and manufacturing in Germany and boast great expertise in plastics and metal processing. Both companies have a passion for innovative products, are synonymous with quality and boast state-of-the-art production facilities, including their own development department and their own toolmaking department.

Frank Gross, as President, and Stefan Scharmann, as General Manager, will jointly run the company as a management duo. Jérôme Larregain, a long-standing expert in the PBS industry, will be in charge of the entire sales division (back office and field sales) on site as Sales Director (Directeur Commercial).
